Founded on 1981, by Rio Tinto Minera, for the operation of the kaolin deposits in Vimianzo, province of A Coruña in Galicia, Spain. The treatment plants are in the place of Cerbán-Vimianzo, near of Finisterre, in the Death Coast, Galicia- Spain). In which we obtain the high quality products: kaolins, micas and quartz sands. We initiate the production of our raw materials in March of 1983. In the year 2000 we obtained certification ISO-9001/2000, with the aim of maintaining the recognition of the quality and the prestige that already had our kaolins and micas in the different markets. The staffing of the company have a high degree of experience, as much in the investigation as in the treatment and obtaining of our products. The main destiny of our sales is the European Union, with exports to America, Middle East, North Africa, and Asia. At the moment the company is a joint-stock company, the shareholder is the Italian Veneta Mineriaria-Kreas. Our objective is get balanced between three principal substances that we comercialize, to continue to grow and endure over time, contributing to the industrial development of the region.
