Drink prices were a lil high. The place was almost empty on a night with live music. Wedding here are great, bar scene, not so much.
It's very nice. Has lots of room, the restrooms for beautifully decorated. Fully stocked bar, but the only downside is that the bartender did NOT know how to fix a mixed drink.
Great hidden treasure in Topeka. They have live entertain on the weekends that attracts a mellow crowd which makes the experience so much more enjoyable. Plus the owners are great and have future plans to improve the property even more to offer additional entertainment.
Attended a wedding here this last weekend. Don't let the bar that you have to drive past scare you from having a wedding here! Once you get onto the Vinewood property, it's the most quaint little place to have a wedding. I think the wedding that I attended here had about 300 or 350 people and it fit us all very comfortably. Didn't feel cramped at all. The ceremony was outdoors, shaded by trees. BEAUTIFUL. And then the reception was indoors. Beautiful refinished hardwood floors and white walls. There were Christmas lights strung from the rafters and it just felt so magical. My only complaints are that the owner of the place seemed a little cranky, so they should maybe think about just sending him home and let the manager run the weddings :) and the outside of the building still needs a little bit of updating to not look a little sketchy. But I promise it's really not sketchy at all once you get inside. Seriously, if you are thinking about having a wedding in the Topeka area. Check this place out. Go there and see it for yourself.
