Great service! Thanks Mark! Small but decent selection of craft beers from the area. Good atmosphere.

Had a fun day at the most famous ghost town in MT.

Wow were we hungry and wow was the food satisfying! Simple seeming menu, but really fast and good service! Loved the homemade pasty (which they bring in along with the tamales from Butte MT.) And the square cherry pie was quite possibly the best cherry pie I’ve ever had. Good service and really cool atmosphere! Easy to add another 5 star rating to this place!

The Bale is under new management this year. It is a family-friendly bar, until about 10 pm-- meaning that children and teens are welcome until then. I don't drink, so I had a sarsaparilla (similar to Root Beer) while my friends had mixed drinks. You can also get a can of Coke or Sprite here. (I'm sure there are other soda pops available, but I didn't look too closely.) They have a mixed drink and beer menu as well. We also shared a plate of yummy bite-sized pasties.

The most memorable experience of our trip. Mark, the bartender, was fantastic, and gave us a tour of Virginia City in the back of his pickup truck, then driving us back to our campsite.

One of my two fav places to grab a bev in this town. Really cool atmosphere. Great to watch sunset and relax on the porch.

Great drinks and very friendly knowledgeable staff. They even helped me find an open restaurant on their own time!

Kitchy and no frills, I ate a Frito Pie and enjoyed a Sasparilla!
