I used Virginia Home Elevator to install an elevator in my new home five years ago and I used them once for a service call. On the positive, they did a very nice job of providing me options for the elevator and their installation was very thorough and professional, with a heavy focus on the safety issues involved in properly using a home elevator. I found their service timely, responsive and again, top notch professional. With the service issue, they worked with the original manufacturer to address a matter involving a defective part, so the breakdown cost me only the labor. I felt that was fair. I mark down one star, as I requested a service contract in the first year of my ownership and was promised a proposal was coming. That proposal never arrived and when my elevator eventually broke down, the serviceman advised me annual maintenance would have likely prevented or identified the problem.
