This is a very old Restuarant in Hotel Daspalla. Dakshin is known for its typical Andhra spice. Biryani's are very tasty. I like the Veg Thali we can different Currys like chicken, mutton or fish with the Thali

Post covid the restaurant has lost its mojo. The old staff is no longer there and the taste has taken a hit. The chutneys are spicy ,puris are oily,fresh lime soda is sick. Bad experience from a place I used to love visiting.
Taste is amazing. Had both veg and non veg. Very reasonable . Good ambiance.
Very bad experience and I never ever expect this from such big restaurant. No proper response from staff and it took 15mins to bring menu card to the table and literally waited for 40mins for the order. Staff has no respect for the customers. Staff and manager were like this is weekend so you need to wait for the order though it may take time but waiting period like 40mins for the food is not acceptable. I suggest whoever reading this please visit small restaurant rather vaishaka restaurant.
Went there yesterday with my family. Wanted to try the buffet but it was too late around 3:30 pm. So we had some light lunch. We ordered plain rice, curd, chettinadu chicken, home style fish curry, dal tadka dry, butter naan The dal tadka fry was superb and resembled as if it was made in home, the home style fish was good with the right spice and taste too... The only disappointment was chicken chettinadu which was on the sweeter side. The butter naan was nice and soft as well it was served hot. In short we had a nice hearty meal and thoroughly enjoyed it We finished our meal with jamaican chocolate ice cream
Worst experience at Dakshin. Food was not hot. Every fry is a deep fry. No taste. Prices are high. When you are competing in prices with Hyderabad and Bangalore, you should provide the same quality. Won't recommend dakshin to anyone
I have visited daspalla multiple times with family and found it to be a good restaurant for a family dining. The ambience is good and so is the food. Our favourite picks have been their Indo Chinese cuisine.
