Good small airport with reasonable facilities. Much improved over the years, but still a generation old. Food and shopping options improved and so did check-in and baggage services.

Indigo employees are most helpful here. My boarding was completed, but still I was called again and gave the luxury recliner seats. Their staff is so smooth and gives good comfort for the passengers

Good airport, comparatively small but good space maintened.. development work under process and good gardening in front of airport another beauty is surrounded by Hill area... there's big nation flag in front of airport...Nice one...

At this time there is no such restriction..thank god..it's just rumours that you have to carry covid test or RT PCR report along with you while traveling .but actually it's not mandate..its mandate for Banagalore only...overall experience was good from Pune airport to my destination

Awesome clean and green terminal.Visakhapatnam Airport is located 7Km from the city centre this airport is the second busiest in Andhra Pradesh and runs domestic services to the major Indian cities such as Delhi (Air India), Chennai,Bengaluru ,kolkata,Port Blair,Mumbai.Visakhapatnam Airport is a customs airport in Visakhapatnam, India. It also operates as a civil enclave on an Indian Navy airbase named INS Dega. It lies between the city localities of NAD X Road and Gajuwaka.First commercial flight ️ start from here in the year of 1981.Initially runway was 1800 MTR long.But present upgraded runway is 3050 MTR long and 148 ft wide.The new Terminal building became operational from March 2009.This new clean and green terminal can handle 500 arrival passaenger and 700 departure passaenger at a time. Maximum Air traffic company ticket counter are available here like Air India, Air Asia, Indigo,Spicejet.CODE NAME :VTZ.
