Our best rental car experience so far, period. Hertz is very lucky to have employees like the gentleman (unfortunately, I forgot to ask his name) who warmly welcomed us at our arrival and - the day of our departure- drove to the rental station on our behalf only and on a Sunday to let me retrieve my mobile phone I forgot in the car after having put the key in the key drop box. I really cannot relate to the negative reviews in the past because I do not see the slightest detail, Hertz (or better: the employee mentioned) could have done any better. Welcoming, friendly, no-fuss, and ready and quick to help in case of a customer-induced mishap. The car was almost new, clean and exactly as stated on their website. The rental car parking lot is a very short foot walk from the airport building and retrieving and returning the car was no problem at all. According to my experience, all I can do is warmly recommend Hertz Visby and convey my thanks and gratitude to the gentleman who works for them!

A very unpleasant greeting by the man behind the desk (who apparently was without soap and water at home judging from the body odor). He knows ZERO about customer service and should be replaced). AVIS is a much better rental agency at the airport with a nice staff.
The man at the desk said that it should be possible to return the keys in the self service machine if the office was closed. But the self service machine is inside the airport that seem to have very unregular opening hours... went here several times trying to return the car spending hours trying to get hold of someone who could help us return the car. Just luck that we did not miss our ferry. Will not rent from them again.
Min sambo och jag hyr bil här ganska ofta - vi har inte någon egen bil, men måste definitivt ha det när vi är på Gotland. Vi har alltid, från den allra första gången, blivit mycket vänligt bemötta och fått en utmärkt, omtänksam samt högst personlig service. Ett stort tack till Dig, Mats, och till Dina medarbetare!
Sehr unfreundliche Bedienung! Bei der Annahme sowie bei der Angabe des Mietwagens! Der Wagen haben wirbim Voraus reserviert und auch bezahlt! Frage mich, wie man so eine Person an einen Schalter setzen kann?? Autovermietung ist doch eine Dienstleistung!! Nie wieder ein Auto Hertz in Visby mieten!
Som alltid så kan man lita på Hertz. Enda nackdelen var när vi lämnade åter på söndagen så fick jag ringa apparaten för återlämning fungerade inte.
Die vom Vermieter auf dem Voucher angegebenen Öffnungszeiten stimmten nicht mit den Öffnungszeiten vor Ort überein. D.h. der Schalter war abends bereits geschlossen, als ich das Auto übernehmen wollte. Als ich am nächsten Morgen wiederkam, nun den Vertrag unterzeichnete und mich beschweren wollte, wurde ich sofort unfreundlich "abgewürgt", ohne dass ich auch nur den Grund meiner Beschwerde hätte darlegen können. Nicht nur das: mir wurde gedroht, dass der Mietvertrag annuliert würde, falls ich das Geschehene weiterhin thematisieren würde . Professionelles Kundenmanagement - geschweige denn Beschwerdemanagement - sieht definitiv anders aus. Eindeutig mein schlechtestes Mietauto-Erlebnis.
