After a call from Vision express Peterborough last year. I made a request that I not be attended by an islamic person. I was assured I would not. When I got to the store I politely asked the muslim lady at the desk if there was anyone else I could talk to. She asked my name then in a very loud voice turned to other islamic staff members and said, \Your the one who doesn't like muslims aren't you. I suggest you go to another store where there are no islamic staff\. Shocked I went home. Made a full complaint to Vision express. I asked for confirmation of the complaint. Non ever came forward.
My 90 year old Father passed away suddenly 57 days after purchasing 2 pairs of spectacles and insurance, amounting to 307.08. We were unaware that any claim needed to be within 60 days. After contacting both the Head Office and the Bury St Edmund's store manager, my sister was informed that we were over the compensation period and no monies would be returned. I am totally disgusted by both the Head Office and Darren Hayward the store manager ( or Director, as he prefers to be known) for their lack of compassion and their 'Jobs Worth' attitude. Whilst not expecting the whole amount to be refunded a gesture of goodwill would have gone a long way. Needless to say that I will no longer be using your company for our families spectacles and will take our custom elsewhere. Be interesting to see if you reply to this post, as you only seem to respond to positive posts.
Avoid the hassle and go elsewhere. No customer service whatsoever. Bent glasses received, they then tried to adjust them whilst breaking my lenses, then resent the frames back even more bent. Customer service told me they would order me new frames which would take 7-10 days. Called to ask where my frames where as its been 15 days nearly. Told its now 12 weeks. 7-10 days to 12 weeks!! not on at all. Furious
Weymouth branch, been waiting 2 months for my daughters glasses, initially was told they was lost and they would send some via express service. These have never turned up and the manager has not returned my phone calls leaving his front desk staff to deal with it. I would stay well clear of this place.
