At first glance you're like um maybe I shouldn't go in. Definitely a local regular spot, but unlike other bars I've been to, I didn't have any issues with being an outsider. They were having karaoke (yay!) when I went so bonus points. A few tables for pool and a smoking patio out back. The drink specials were on point!

Small neighborhood bar where, if you're a regular, they definitely know your name. The friendly bartender served delicious drinks which were very reasonably priced. 3 pool tables are available. There is a Nintendo Wii for additional game play. I saw a couple of people playing virtual ping pong. You can also play your favorite tunes on the AMI Entertainment Jukebox. Download the app, purchase your credits, and select your music conveniently, right from your phone! There is a tiny stage in the right corner. I saw a sign that said \patio\ so there may be one out back, but I didn't venture there. The restrooms are clean. One for men and another for women. The women's restroom was spacious. The only con for me is that if you want food you have to order from Taqueria Chabelita, a taco shop next door which is simple enough to do and they will bring it over to you when it's ready-just don't expect much from the wings if you order them. All in all, Jim's Vista Lounge is a good place to visit for that down home feel.
This is a great spot for a birthday party or company party as well, so I'd highly recommend it for get- together's.
Went in on Saturday night for karaoke (my second time here ever). Played pool. Enjoyed a few beers. The bar staff was wonderful but the karaoke was not great. I love to sing karaoke and I have gone to many karaoke nights at various locations and this was just not good. My 4 star rating is for the bartender. I know karaoke hosts if you need recommendations for a new one who actually have licensing for songs rather than pull up from YouTube which is illegal.... Just saying
Great place for a cold beer, pool and friends get together. Always a good time
