The first time we travelled to Italy, my husband and I did it alone. Although we enjoyed it very much, the next time we wanted to share the experience with like minded companions. In came Vita Italian Tours! We have travelled a further 3 times to Italy with Gianni and Mario, discovering a new region each time. Last year we did The Spectacular South - Puglia, Abruzzo & Matera. WOW! This was such an amazing tour. So much fun! Vita Italian Tours organised our whole travel from leaving our door in Perth to back again. Vita Italian Tours offer everything we love about a tour - structured without being over the top. It all feels so comfortable, like you are travelling with friends who just happen to know the lingo, the country and great places to eat! We have just returned from the most amazing family holiday to Italy. Being such a big group we decided to use the services of Vita Italians tours and we are so glad we did. Our trip was seamless. From Venice to Sicily we had amazing accommodation, fantastic transport services and all the tours we booked were amazing. The service from Mario, Gianni and Nadia didn’t end when we left for our trip, but continued whilst we were in Italy with great recommendations for places to visit and places to eat and then with follow up on our return. We discovered the most amazing travel agents/tour company Vita Italian Tours / Pronto travel . We are so grateful for all the hard work they put into our special family holiday . Every little detail was planned , researched and explained to us by the wonderful charismatic Mario and his gorgeous son Gianni . Nadia also needs to be mentioned as she also had input ! Our family of 15 took our mum to Italy to see her 2 sisters after 45 yrs living in Australia . It was the most amazing experience ,all because of the smooth running itinerary organised by these guys . All I can say is they are awesome and if you are looking at getting the best in the business who definitely know their stuff look these guys up . You won’t be disappointed. From transfers, tours , tour guides ,flights , accomodation to advice on best restaurants . All this because they go every year and take people on tours themselves so actually talk the talk not just assume . We had a wonderful holiday thanks to Gianni who organised a private tour of the Le Marche region for my husband and I. Arriving in Ascoli Piceno from Rome we relaxed into our 16c Hotel Palazzo with beautiful frescoes and a historic court yard, setting the scene for the historical sights and unique experiences ahead. Riccardo was our local guide, friendly, knowledgeable and passionate about his region. We travelled with ease to Pesaro, Urbino, San Marino, San Leo, Gradara sampling local produce and wines along the way. Travelling this way enabled spontaneity (we turned left, had a beautiful lunch in a country restaurant with a cellar that was built into a cave just below Mussolini’s hotel room!) and in each city Riccardo knew to inform my husband of the local caffe corretto inc., caffe Meletti, Moretta Fanese, Completo etc., We really enjoyed every day and evening - thank you !
