Very strange place to visit: it looks a bit desolate, with a big pool of hot water (about 136 F), and few smaller (and cooler) pools around, were local people take hot white mud baths. It is very close to the university botanical garden.

Nice thermal pools. In January, only warm for 1 person where the hot water flows in. The rest is about 20 degrees which is not nice.
This is not the place you're looking for to take a bath, but check out the tasty figues of the tree next to the parking lot and take time to visit the great botanical garden nearby! (Also has eduroam for the scientists of you)
Went there after reading about it on Google, but it was closed and no sign of life. Several others also drove up but had to turn round. It looked across pretty tough ground to get to the pool.
There is a bus service fromviterbo station but if you miss it you need to walk like 3.7km from viterbo to terme. It's not the place you are looking for take a bath. Hot spring nothing more but nice, quiet and free. Quite terme but need to be well maintained..
