Attending Jane's Accent reduction classes was one of the best decisions of my professional career. Make no mistake, accent reduction is not as easy as it might seem and requires teaching your vocal cords a new way to pronounce every word you know. Working with Jane made it clear that there is a process to learn and beat everything and she;s got the best process out there. She doesn't waste a single second and the clock starts ticking the minute you say "Hi". She is extremely patient but knows when to hold the stick. She;s VERY VERY organized and professional. Due to COVID i had to change my classes from in person to virtual and I saw no difference in the service. If anything, it got better. I would recommend Jane to anyone who wants to be better understood, reduce accent and improve business/casual communication

wanted to be able to control the regionality of my voice, so I reached out to Jane. After a good few months of training, I think we made great progress. My initial goals have been met. I'm now aware of those aspects of my speech that cause regionality. And I'm able to control them alot better than I used to be. We also got into speaking style and how to tell a story more effectively. Jane was very insightful when it came to this. Half of our lessons consisted of applying the actual syllable pronunciation techniques into my story-telling. Highly recommend Jane to anyone.

I spent almost a whole year taking private lessons with Jane. I am more confident now than ever when communicating ideas in the workplace. The course was very structured. Jane started the course with a comprehensive evaluation and made a very personalized study plan accordingly. Then we worked on all the things that I needed to improve. It was important to complete weekly homework in time because homework was designed to refresh what I have learned during the class. Pronunciation was only part of the course. Communication was what I benefited the most. Jane helped me using English in different contexts of business communication: presentation, interview, etc. Jane listened constantly to what I said in the class and would quickly write them down if she thought there were better ways to express my ideas. The whole class notes from Jane totaled more than thirty pages in the end! The course was very interactive too. I had plenty of time asking Jane questions and Jane was very patient answering all of my questions. In short, my English improved so much that I can't be more satisfied with the course.
