I love working here, and I've met so many amazing people, seen Lake Travis' finest boats, and made memories that will stay with me forever. I've also had some tragic moments, found out just How small of a place this town can be, and made a home in a community that is unique in so many ways. Highland Lakes Marina has always been \home\ to me, since the day I was born into the Carter family. Coming home has never been my plan, but it was God's apparently, because here I am. I've given my absolute all to the Marina, and proudly watched as each idea came to fruition. My dreams, and vision for the future has slowly molded itself into reality, with struggles, set backs, delays, zombie apocalyptic virus attacks, and more drama than could play on TV, but this adventure is one I know you'll all appreciate, even when it's over. My customers, my employees, and family, and my friends- who may be few, but counted as genuine- have all been a constant source of joy, pride, and emphatic love for me. Thanks for that. This place is amazing.

It's beautiful out there.
I have been going out to Lake Highland Marina for 3 or 4 years and I have been very pleased with the service I have received. I don’t know what has happened in the last year or so but the service has been terrible. I don’t know if they have changed ownership but whoever has been running the place has a lot to learn about customer service. Tonight was the icing on the cake. It was the most ridiculous fireworks show I have ever seen. I have seen better in a backyard. Bottom line if you have another place to go on the lake. Go
