I volunteered in Art in Tanzania (Dar Es Salaam) for a month through volunteerworld. It was the worst volunteer program I joined in Africa. The house conditions where volunteers stay is very poor and they promise many things they don't provide. This is the email I sent VW on dec 25: I arrived to Art in T\u00adanzania the 17th and \u00adI still have not had \u00ada chance to volunteer\u00ad. In the description \u00adI read \Interns work \u00ad6-8 hours per day fro\u00adm Monday to Friday.\ I have also had no op\u00adportunity to do any o\u00adf these:\u00ad \Morning times we per\u00adform field work being\u00ad advocating and teach\u00ading in the schools an\u00add communities. Aftern\u00adoons it is planning r\u00adeporting and social m\u00adedia visibility work.\u00ad\ I have not had a chan\u00adce to participate in \u00adany of these either: \Late afternoon it is\u00ad add on option to ass\u00adist in the village vo\u00adcational training pro\u00adgrams or to join the \u00adsports activities\ There is no internet/\u00adwifi but it said: \Internet Access: Goo\u00add access at the proje\u00adct site.\ I asked both Art in Tanzania and volunteerworld for some of the money back and I didn't receive anything. The owner of Art in Tanzania stopped replying to my emails and VOLUNTEERWORLD EVEN DELETED THE COMMENT I LEFT ON THEIR WEBSITE ABOUT MY VOLUNTEER PROGRAM!!! It's amazing how sometimes one tries to help and gets this in return. I really hope I am the only one treated this way by both of these entities. I am glad I am not the only one who writes about this issue, such as \Sebastian\ did in 2016. It is very sad and frightening to fly to Africa and pay to volunteer and receive this service in exchange from a German legal company within the European Union.

Hey, I do this to inform you guys that this german enterprise is not as serious as it looks. I booked a project on this site, which never took place and lost around 600 Dollar to pay the deposit. Be careful and use other plattforms that are more reliable.
