I was recently staff at an event that we put together there and this place is amazing staff is nice they put up with us an 100 middle schoolers the food was really good as well. My only complaint is that the place to get water is at the vending machine at its 2 euro for a small bottle

Nice youth hostel within 5 minutes walk from the Würzburg city center directly at the riverside. As it is included into an area of old, historic building it has some really nice rooms, sadly not every room with a private locker for every body. The view from the backside to the castle is really impressive. They serve a solid and traditional youth-hostel style breakfast.

It was okay for the price. Really early in the morning there was a kid stomping through the halls and talking really loudly, but this wasn't the hostel's fault of course. A lot of young families and young people who can be loud at times(again to be expected since this is a youth hostel). Breakfast was crowded and felt a bit messy, but the food itself wasn't bad, they were really nice buns fresh from the oven. Overall I prefer something more quiet and orderly, but to each their own.

The rooms are okay, of you know what you have to expect (6 beds in one room), there are lockers for everybody but sadly the showers are outside the rooms and for about 5 rooms there are only 3 showers. The food is nice as long as you are not vegan. And the wifi is pretty good for a youth hostel
