Edit: Contacted support as instructed in reply. No response. Purchased '11 Focus in April, car initially had a fair amount of cosmetic work needed. Not all panels had cosmetic fixes but staff were very kind and helpful throughout. 6 months later as the wet months kick in, a leak is discovered. Both the drivers and passenger side foot wells are flooding quite bad (might have been prior - but rubber matts had covered the foot wells to hide and weather hasn't been as bad). Initially told this is covered by my 12 month warranty purchased with the car, I took it in for a service. Just before work started I had a call saying the warranty won't cover this and that I'd be charged but they would let me know if it's too much work. I mentioned the car had been purchased just 6 months ago, to which I was told they would take that in to account. I phone up the same day to check on the work - apparently a common issue with the rear light leaking through. Told it stank of damp so likely been an issue for a while. Most of the work had been done and I could collect the next day - great! I'm given a 440 bill which got reduced to 340 after bringing up how recent I'd purchased the car. Really disappointed with this given it sounds like a manufacturers defect and likely something wrong with the car prior to purchase. The staff have been very kind but this just felt like a tone deaf response for such a recent purchase and not so old car. I just hope now the leak doesn't return or I'll be having pot noodles for Christmas dinner.

I visited today with my dad to test drive a car we seen online. I was greeted by a very pleasant man who told me Gareth has just gone to put fuel in the car and to take a seat. Gareth booked us in and myself and my dad went for a drive, I loved the car and when we got back, we weren't mithered whilst we had a good look around the car. We went in and Gareth was great with us, he understood my worries over getting a new car after my last one and didnt push us but told us everything we needed to know. And even arranging my collection on a day he is in and he even said he'd come in on his day off if I couldnt do a certain day. Really polite and well mannered staff so much so I'd do the 1hr journey for the cars yearly service and mot. I highly recommend W R Davies Ford Llandudno purely for the non pushy, polite, well mannered staff. Thank you again I cant wait to get my new car.

Getting the car on finance was a quick process, however the customer service over email was poor. A couple emails were ignored and I had to chase them up about when my car was ready to be picked up as I wasn’t contacted. The car mileage was also advertised incorrectly as it had an extra 600 miles. I contacted their support and was provided a quick response from the managing director and everything was sorted. If the Junction branch could provide decent customer service over email I would have given them 4 stars. I understand COVID may have been a factor in slower responses, however responding to an email a few days late is better than not responding at all. The other WR Davies branches don’t appear to have these problems.

No help to be had, staff were vague with answers and seemed not interested. Bought my car elsewhere in the end and got friendly helpful service.
