The trails were very well maintained. I would rate them as moderate only due to the inticate root system found along the trail, which only added to its beauty. I hiked the trails after a significant amount of rain in the area, so some spots were covered by water. Beautiful area.

The park is very nice, and the views of the river are beautiful. Keep in mind that the river often floods. Part of the trail was flooded when I visited recently. In fact, it was washed out. The picnic area is very well-kept, and it is a wonderful place to have a picnic lunch. The campground is also very nice.

This was a spur of the moment trip. Its beautiful and quiet. Plenty of spots to fish! Campsites are nice and the picnick area was nice too. Watch out for the misquotes they are massive and aggressive.

Had a great fathers day weekend camping with the family. Clean & spacious sites, nice trails & picnic areas. Great swimming, fishing & canoeing areas. Park ranger was very helpful. Most definitely our new favorite spot close to home.

Still searching for good social distancing activity options and what’s better than camping?! We did a late night Walmart run for tents and sleeping bags and by the next afternoon we were here ready to spend the night. Super clean and easy for novice campers like us!
