I been over a year in this school. Coach Ryan and Noel are the best instructors you can ask for. Their way of teaching is amazing, is no way you can miss a detail on any technique. Even with the Covid Pandemic the school still teaching via Zoom. You still drill your moves on your house and still get credit for the classes.

Coming to train Jiu Jitsu at Central Oahu has been the best decision for my family. My 3 kids train in their kids classes and I appreciate their method of teaching kids to use Jiu Jitsu only when necessary and for bully proofing. Their primary focus isn't for competing and being the strongest or fiercest fighters on the street. Coach Ryan and Coach Noel are both SO good with the kids, teaching in an encouraging way that even the beginner doing their first class will feel like they're doing it right and actually get it! What started with just my kids training has turned into me taking the Women Empowered Self Defense classes, and now the Beginner Combatives classes for adults. Each step along the way has been positive and we have found family at Central Oahu Jiu Jitsu! Try a class and see for yourself how awesome this academy is!

Great leaning environment. Safety is a big issue for me as my joints aren’t what they used to be. The coaches at COBJJ make sure we are mindful at being safe with our training partners. I really appreciate this component as well as leaning new techniques and skills that give me a little more peace of mind in feeling more confident if ever placed in a dangerous situation.

Taking the Gracie Jiu Jitsu Women's empowerment class. The instructors and members are very friendly and welcoming. Makes me feel comfortable and feel like I belong to the group. I would totally recommend this Academy.

I been in several martial arts schools but none like this one. Since day one the instructors Ryan and Joel including the students gave me a warning welcome. I really appreciate the way they teach, explaining the minimum details on the moves what is so important in BJJ. Is a family friendly location, and is really clean. Thank you guys for the opportunity to be part of the team.

Central Oahu Jiu-Jitsu Academy is such an amazing gym, with a comforting and welcoming environment! From the very first time that I ever stepped foot into this academy, I felt at home! Everyone here makes you feel like family. I walked into this place without knowing anyone or anything about Jiu-Jitsu and no one ever judged me for it, instead they welcomed me with open arms and were so glad to help me! My wife and i had signed up for a membership after taking the free trail class! The classes that are offered here are life changing! The classes teach you "real-life" situations and help make you feel confident in your self-defense skills, in the event that you'd need to use them in the outside world. COBJJ offers many different class times which makes it easier for my wife and I to attend with our busy work schedules. COBJJ is much more than a "gym" to us, its a family!
