LOVE Chahinkipa Park! 18 hole Golf course with 9 holes, each, in two different states! Walking archery course. Swimming pool, with slide. Two camping sites, one by damn on Red River of the North, other site, 50 feet from large zoo! Several miles of safe, walking trails. One around a duck/goose pond, kept open, year around. Another trail highlights sculptures from local artisans, metal, mostly. Add multiple, world class softball fields, ice skating ponds, and ND nice people to guide you, anywhere, I just Love it!

This is such a great zoo for kids and adults alike. So much to see, the trainings are great and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable!
Went down the sledding hill today. So much fun! They are grooming cross country trails too. Went CC skiing last week.
This place has it all!! Great zoo,good golf course,terrific swim pool,baseball diamonds, GREAT playground,gazebo for music in park , good picnic areas,WONDERFUL Carousel,cool cabins and camping area!! Oh and a skate park!! Lily and I go almost everyday!!!
