Power was off when I got there...so no review. Hilo store is excellent and unlike home Depot...loads your Lumber and heavies like cement..for you...also now has great selection of garden tools and Carhartt gear.

The prices are definitely higher than Home Depot or Lowes, but the real challenge is the unhelpful and almost rude staff. Today in the lumber yard instead of a gentleman walking up and asking, "May I help you out with something?" What I got was,"That stuff is sold already." How would I know, it doesn't say anything on it.

I sent my my wife just now to pick up 12 studs and 2 sheets of drywall. She is sitting there and no one is even coming to help her load. She just called me and has been sitting for 30 mins after asking to get help. Terrible service.
