They are working very hard to make sure you have a safe shopping experience during the pandemic. We got some really amazing deals here, like stuff you find in antique shops or consignment boutiques. Can't wait for another visit, hopefully when it's less crowded.

Just wanted to make a donation of clothes, but they were open on a Sat and asked to come back on a Monday... of course it was closed and they never answered the phone...donated elsewhere, where people really care about other people.

Be careful! They overcharged me 9. I bought a microwave bottle steamer that was marked 4 and they tried to charge me 14. I pointed it out because I could go to target and buy the item brand new for that price, and they said they were charging 4. Well, I bought a few other baby items and the total seemed high, but they were busy and the staff was grumpy so I left. I went over the charges again at home and realized that they had charged 14 after all. I'm appalled that a church of all places would rip off a single pregnant mom. I won't be shopping there again, that's for sure, and I definitely wouldn't go to church there. If you are donating, consider memory lane in kona. They are honest, friendly, and their proceeds actually go somewhere worthwhile. They are run by Hospice, who provides free medical services and emotional support to end of life patients locally and to their families. The preschool and other buildings on St. James site are just tenants, and like the thrift shop are generating more profit for the church. They don't actually do any real charity work within the community.
