I am so disappointed by the service my family and I received at this Snorkel Bob’s - Mauni Lani location. We have rented gear at other Snorkel Bob’s locations on Maui, Kauai, and Oahu and have always been blown away by the service we have received. We’ve always felt that the people were passionate about their job and would go out of their way to suggest places on each island for us to snorkel, etc. However, at this location the elderly gentleman was so incredibly rude to me and my children. And, I would go as far as saying, we all felt we were in trouble while we were sitting there, while he gathered our equipment. I understand there are new COVID policies in place, however, no one should be meant to feel this way. I wrote that first incident off assuming he might of been grumpy, because it was a busy, etc. Although, super reluctant, I needed to go back a couple of days later to this location to switch out my mask because it was incredibly faulty and wasn’t working well for me. However, a different older man was working and he was even MORE rude, than the first gentleman. He was blaming me for the mask failure, which was my last straw and that is why I am leaving this review. I have NEVER in my 40 years wrote a negative review about any business. We are on the fence about ever returning to any Snorkel Bob location again.

I accidentally left my very nice dive mask and snorkel on the beach in Oahu. car rentals from snorkel Bob's for a few days until I found a replacement pair. Staff was super friendly. Equipment was good - not as good a fit as I'm used to, but it's for rent, not fit to you.

They are great. Go get your snorkel set for the week when you get to the area. Better then the stuff hotels and catamaran's let you use.

We bought my son's snorkel gear here a few yrs ago. Now 10 yrs old he wanted to check and see if he needed a new, larger mask. He waited in line for 10min to ask and the employee cuts him off and says he needs to help other customers. Not the right way to treat a current customer and develop a future customer. We will not be returning for future purchases.

Great place. Guys gave us a tip right up the road to snorkel. Ended up being one of our favorite spots.
