Hands down some of the best skiing in Vermont, and don't let the three lifts deceive you, there are so many different ways down the mountain and a plethora of glades. Without a doubt will be back!

The greatest Vermont mountain you've never heard of. Incredible snow quality (all natural) with superb glades and plenty of moguls to keep you busy. I love that all trails converge at one base area and all lifts take you to the top. The single chairlift is also a plus - definitely a throwback. A humble, quaint mountain with serious terrain. I highly recommend.

Excellent place. Great vice. No snowboards . Love that its “like it used to be here” sacred place here. Ski this place

No snowboards.... poach it if you can...it is pathetic that all of you people are so happy to say no snowboards. I will never know, but I bet this place sucks and the terrain is super easy.

I’ve skied over 20 ski areas across New England, and mad river always tops the list for me. They offer extensive glade skiing, with trails ranging from expert to easy of course. Mad river also has a single chairlift which offers a unique aspect to the ski area, aside from being exclusive to skiing. Overall well worth it to visit for the day, plus it’s a member owned cooperative mountain!
