I enjoyed my stay at the Yellow Farmhouse Inn. The location is perfect and is close to a lot of trails, swimming holes and the small town of Waitsfield. I was especially impressed by the cleanliness of the Inn as well the rooms. I would absolutely recommend staying at this beautiful Inn. I was lucky to have met the previous owners, Mike and Sandy who were very lovely. The new owners, Lori and Andrew are just as lovely and very accommodating.

Quintessential Vermont, classic B&B. Beautiful, historic farm house updated tastefully with all the modern amenities - clean and comfortable. Delicious breakfasts (very considerate of dietary restrictions & preferences). Local recommendations we're spot-on for the area and our tastes. Great views and lovely property. Mike & Sandra, we'll be back!

Mike and Sandra deserve 10/5 stars. They go above and beyond to make sure their guests are happy. We stayed in the Nicole room for 3 nights which was very spacious and very clean. We enjoyed using the community lounge area to watch football and other shows. The entire place is immaculate. Breakfast every morning served between 8-9 A.M was always delicious (coffee starts earlier). Always had homemade cookies in the afternoon and tea and hot chocolate always set out. Highly recommend Yellow Farmhouse Inn! Also had great hiking/dinner recommendations!

I've spent 3 days here with my wife and I've had a great time. Very peaceful place and it felt like a home away from home. Breakfasts were very good and not to mention the cookies that were baked fresh daily! The whole experience was just great and I can't wait to go back there again. PS. The whole place was very clean!

I was reluctant to write this five star review, because this place is probably Vermont’s best kept secret but hey; the word is out! My wife and I were traveling from CT to Quebec and were looking at places in Waitsfield because I have ancestors buried there. This was our first time staying at a B&B and we were a little hesitant but decided to go for it. We were so glad we made that decision. Mike was beyond welcoming and accommodating, stayed up late for us and got us settled in. Breakfast the next morning was incredible and we want to thank Sandra for her hospitality as well. There were a few other guests staying there as well and everyone was very nice. The room we stayed in was impeccable; as clean as it gets. The bed was extremely comfortable. Mike also went out of his way to contact the town sextant and locate the grave of my ancestor, which probably saved us an hour or two of walking around trying to find it. On our way back down from Canada, we decided to stop back in and stay another night. Mike went out of his way to shuffle some things around and get us in, so we appreciated that. Be sure to make your reservation in advance! Looking forward to coming back and staying a while longer next time. Check out American Flatbread for pizza while you’re there. That was Mike’s suggestion and the food was excellent.

My wife and I stayed in the Olivia room for 2 nights and it was fantastic! We spent the day skiing at Sugarbush and the evening going to dinner at the local diner/movie theater. The hosts were great and we really can't wait until our next stay! - Ben and Riley

Easily the best Vermont weekend I've ever had. The inn is lovely and Mike and Sandra are amazing hosts. Everything from cookies to a homecooked VT breakfast, everything was perfect. Such a gem, don't miss out on this one of a kind experience. -Cam
