Dr. Matheis is great if you can get in to see her. I am/was an established patient but no one will answer the phone, voicemail is full, and no response from the online contact form. I guess they are too busy for patients. If you can't get in, it doesn't matter how great the Doctor is.

I have been a patient here for years. Dr. Matheis has helped my skin throughout the years in many ways. She is extremely knowledgeable about current developments in skin care, and she never makes a person feel like he/she/ they are asking a silly question. I am very thankful for such a practice!

If I could leave 0 stars I would. This place is a scam. I had an 8:30am appointment, was not called back until after 9:15. Once in the room I waited another 20 minutes for the doctor to come in. I was charged 350 for the visit. I asked for an itemized receipt and was not given one, just cc receipt saying 350 on it. I called and left multiple messages (because no one ever answers the phone) asking for an itemized receipt and for someone from billing to call me back. Still to this day haven't heard back. My appointment was July 27,2020 and and now on October 14, 2020 I received another bill in the mail for an outrageous amount and it says to make the check payable to Dr. Mathis and not Wake Forest Dermatology? This place has scam written all over it. I'm shocked they're still in business. Seriously, DO NOT waste your time going here.

Almost never answer the phone and only sporatically return messages. Have not gotten in on time for any appointment. Happy with the Doctors care, but all the other issues are very frustrating.

I have never dealt with a physicians office run so poorly. I was referred to this office by my Wound Care Specialist. Well today, that changed. I called and left messages with billing because I need to know how much to expect to pay. 3 days still no reply. When I asked if the doctor could deal with my specific issue 6 days ago, she was in surgery and I was told they would call back. I never got a call. Today its back to answering machine tag. Most unprofessional office I have dealt with. Total waste of time.
