Ideal location on a pass right in the Black Forest, perfect for hiking and biking. E-MTB's, swimming pool and wellness available on site. Vegan menu is one of the best ever. Corona-proof - we felt very safe while here.

Got down for a break whilst traveling. Hotel is currently closed due to Corona but there's a small concession stand running selling hot and cold drinks as well as hot food. We had a coffee and it was fine. The sausages were quite appetizing on a cold day

A nice hotel with friendly staff that speak English quite well. The sauna, swimming pool and spa are nice to visit as well, and the massage is worth it if you just did a long hike or are about to leave for one! The rooms are clean and nice, and the restaurant is more than decent!

Really recomnded as a base to see the area. Great facilities and excellent dinner. Hotel chef is doing great job with the 5-course dinner. Chef use great products and makes excellent dishes. You can choose between a fish of meet option every evening, and both were always delicious. The only improvement we can ask for is to extend the dinner time during the summer and serve dinner until 9 pm. Hotel has excellent facilities for kids at all ages: pool, snooker, bowling. We also used the hotel eMTB which are of high quality and excellent way to see the area. We stayed at a family room with 3 kids. The room is functional but pretty small for 5, and it also face the main road so you can't leave windows open due to noise. Overall, highly recomended and good service by the staff and manager.

We had an absolutely wonderful time there. The hotel is renovated and has everything and more. We were especially pleased by the E-mountain Bikes available for daily rent. We explored all the the region around with it, really fantastic! The restaurant is excellent and the staff is super kind. The portions were very generous in our opinion, sometimes we weren't able to finish what was served for dinner. The sauna area is also wonderful. There are sauna areas for all preferences.The spa offers are absolutely worth a shot, they have very skilled professionals there. The staff in general is very attentive and flexible concerning special requests and offering the best activities in the region. There are plenty of things to do around and the hotel, which is equipped with all sorts of guides. We really look forward to another trip there.

Nice Hotel, nice SPA, nice resting grooms . The place looks to be lost on the top of a mountain but it isn't . Just ask for a room not on the road side if you don't want to be weaken up at 6 am by the traffic on the road passing just in front of the hotel. We had snow when we were there, which was very romantic but the snowplow was active very early on the parking of the hotel... We didn't really found the quietness we were looking for when we booked the hotel. But anyway if you ask for a room NOT on the road side you'll enjoy your stay even more than we did. Hotel doesn't accept international credit cards that's why only 3 stars

Welcome 0 Fitnessstudio 0 Food Vegan 0 hearty Breakfast but poor food!! Staff Service 0 are not helpful at all and availability!!! Super expensive the price!!! This Hotel is just worth a star
