Would like to thank the owners and staff at Life's Journey for a beautiful wedding! The space was immaculate, their support was amazing. I highly recommend you book this for your next venue. They took temperatures and had masks and gloves. I just can't say enough good things about the owners and their attentiveness towards our chef and prep staff. Planning the event there was a breeze. I attended a 50th Birthday celebration a couple of weeks ago. I had friends and family travel from as far as N.Y. to attend. I am still getting compliments and inquiries about this venue. Everyone was extremely impressed with the layout and the cleanliness of the venue. Many people made reservations at the Hotel steps away which made the event even much more enjoyable. I’m currently searching for ideas to have an excuse to use this venue. Very professional staff and very reasonable rates! I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a classy venue to entertain.

Nothing was ever too much for ask for, and questions were always answered super fast. I couldn’t have asked for a better day, or a better venue. My Family Reunion Event at this venue was July 6, 2019. A very hot 90 degrees July night. We were informed upon our arrival to set up that the air conditioner in the main room was not working. With 100 guest it would be an understatement to say it was uncomfortable. We brought in our own fans which were not much help. My event was certainly not the event that I had planned for because of the HEAT.

LOVE LOVE LOVE THE VENUE! We just celebrated my milestone birthday at the venue and it was incredible! So much space enough for our karaoke, photo booth, dining area and dancing. They offer 3 spacious sophisticated rooms that are so nice I did not need much in the way of decoration. The owners were helpful and nice at every turn. (yes I can be a pest) I can’t wait to plan another event.

If no SELECTION of stars was an option that would be my selection. Just weeks before my milestone birthday (50th) my husband received a phone call explaining that the venue is no longer available. It apparently was inadvertently double booked for AMY. My husband (reserved and paid for the venue March of 2018) eight months before the date of the scheduled event and paid in full. Very unexpectedly, no longer the plan. I was shocked, I was stunned, I didn't know what to think when that happened," had to lose money on a caterer, DJ, bartender (status on alcohol license dishonest like the business's practice) Charles County does not know this business is being used for social events involving alcohol so you are taking a chance. "They took my money and offered an apology. I guess the apology made them feel better . "It really infuriates me we planned in advance to make this happen mad an effort to support a small business and ....TWO weeks before Christmas "We were calling around to other venues that were all booked -- We had put out more than 4,000 and had no place to go and could not be refunded." MEMORIES of my 50th are the family and friends who lost money on airline and hotel reservations (non refundable) and the poor business practices of Mr. and Mrs. Mallard . MEMORY of having to cancel my Milestone celebration. You only turn 5O once. DO NOT DO IT!
