As a guy who likes organization and ease of movement in a store, this place sets me crazy as soon as I walk in the door. However, Megan in the frame section was extremely helpful in selecting the right pieces for the memorial shadow box I'm building for a recently passed Marine. By the time we were done I was all but whistling on my way to the register. Thanks Megan!
Remodel is very nice... regarding this visit; the staff was friendly and fully engaged in ensuring I found the items I needed. Great Experience.. Looking forward to my next visit...
Ordered online for pickup same day. I arrived at the store, went to the pickup counter and was out of there in a couple minutes. It was awesome!!!
Love My Charms I Found There
I ordered online with free in store pick-up. Again, I had to wait longer than expected. I'm starting to wonder if it's worth the extra steps. I thought the whole process was a quick "grab'n'go" concept. Nope, not so much.
My experience at this location (Waldorf, on December 3) was very good. I didn't have to wait to enter the store, all of the registers were operating so that my wait time was very short, employees were fully engaged, I found what I was looking for, and the store was clean and organized. Most importantly, people were practicing social distancing. All the complete opposite of what I experienced at the Bowie location a day later, where I never intend to visit again.
I ordered some craft supplies for in-store pickup. I pressed the button for service and waited at the kiosk... and waited... and waited. as I watched many customers get served at the registers, I thought maybe I had to stand in line too. so I did, only to be told that I had to wait at the kiosk. by then, someone had finally come to the kiosk to help. he gave me my products. the foam board was banged up and dirty. when I told him I didn't want that one, he briefly looked at me like I was crazy before walking back with me to pick up a new one. we went through a few of them before we found one that wasn't damaged. I'll be going to Bowie or Alexandria from now on.
