Wallaceburg has really been growing since I was a child. I remember when the Civic Park use to host the Nativity Scene . I use to volunteer to watch it over night. So no vandalism would happen to it. Now it hosts new companies for press releases. Weddings, birthdays, anniversaries all kinds of occasions. Even our local bands and pot smokers come out to sit down town. I can only hope that the City of Chatham/Kent, Wallaceburg development. Will invest in a new video camera or cameras to watch out over the water fountain this year. As it does seem to be the center of a prankster each year. I would like to think after all these years the City of Chatham/Kent, Wallaceburg development department would be more responsive in putting in video cameras rather than having to pay for the cleanup. I believe that the cleanup costs thousands of dollars. I would like to see just for once someone be held accountable for their actions. Help keep Wallaceburg Beautiful so people like me can enjoy for many years to come.
