Great first gym experience! I thought an MMA gym would be intimidating at first, but Mike and the crew are all very laid-back and super accommodating. There’s no pressure, just healthy encouragement and the desire to see students grow and learn. While the instructors take their job very seriously and know what they’re doing, their positive energy is infectious and makes every class enjoyable.

The gym is a great place for adults & children. Mike works closely with the children in an encouraging & thoughtful way. He is involved in all age groups & strives to do the best for his clients so they can reach their individual goals. The gym offerst different styles of martial arts & flexible open hours. Great for after school/work. You can move at your own pace or train daily to compete. I have had a very pleasant experience with the gym & those who attend the gym. I would highly recommend this establishment.

I trained at PCMMA from the summer of 2016 to the summer of 2019, 3 years in all. I started at 15 years old, and stopped going regularly at 18 years old. I only stopped because I moved to college. My time at the gym shaped me as a person; I learned more about discipline, hard work and perseverance in there than anywhere else, including school. I started intending to learn about boxing; I had a lot of stress and was looking for a physical way to release it. My first night at the gym I boxed, then put on a borrowed gi to try jiu jitsu. I figured I might as well give it a shot. I was hooked, from that night on. I did jiu jitsu and boxed for about a year, up until when the schedule changed and I chose to focus exclusively on jiu jitsu. I grew a lot on the mat, I started out very unsure and if I didn't perform well I got upset and frustrated, but the more I learned and worked the easier it got to manage my stress and frustration. I was promoted to blue belt a few months before I moved into my dorm. I never felt like I was ready to compete seriously, but I participated in a smoker and I was given opportunities to compete or see competitions all the time if I wanted. I would recommend bringing your kids to PCMMA, and training there yourself if that's what you're looking for. This gym gives a one-of-a-kind experience that has truly enriched my life. I'll always value it :)

I cannot say enough great things about this gym. My son trains here five days a week and absolutely loves it. Mike is amazing with the kids and I swear he has the patients of a saint with them. My son has been going for six months and any chance we have to suggest this place to someone we do. As soon as money is good for me I will be signing up to do the adult classes.
