The Walpole location is consistently outstanding. I’ve been to other Massage Envy locations before and have had mixed experiences. At Walpole, the staff is professional and welcoming, the rooms are warm and comfortable. If you’re looking for a specific recommendation, Pauline is one of the best massage therapists I’ve ever had! The online appointment scheduling is a huge bonus too.

During my last visit, I had booked a follow-up appointment with my therapist. They re-scheduled my appointment because she was on a medical leave which was a few weeks away from my original appointment which was fine because it wasn’t their fault. Then on the night before they leave me a voicemail confirming my appointment. I show up the next day and turns out they had a scheduling issue and they booked me on a day when my therapist didn’t work!! There was no indication whatsoever before then that my massage was moved, and this is after almost 2 months of my last appointment! Very unprofessional! If I had done that they would have charged my account for 1 massage and all I got was a sorry. I asked them ok when do they have a next appointment available and they were giving me a date almost 1.5 months away!! unbelievable!! If they weren’t able to accommodate me, might as well give me a free add-on to my next massage to compensate but nothing.
Back in Nov/Dec 2019- Their masseuse (Juan) abruptly canceled all appointments and was no longer working there. My membership was terming 01-07 and I had 6 scheduled sessions (according to Allie) prepaid on the books before that date - they said they would make “ every effort “ to reschedule those sessions. Spoke with one employee a few weeks ago- but there wasn’t availability and they said they would call back to reschedule. If I hadn’t heard from them, I thought I could just get it all straightened out at a session I had scheduled today - Instead - they said I lose all 6 sessions because my membership expired (01/07) and have to pay for new membership to reschedule the sessions that *THEY* canceled on ME and never rescheduled.
I have visited Massage Envy at Chicago West Loop, Camarillo, CA, Seabrook, NH, Norwell and Walpole, MA. I thoroughly enjoyed my membership while living in Walpole; which is why I book services when traveling. All locations are clean and most often quiet. I love the line of products they have used over the years, including when they introduce a new line. In Walpole - Pauline is an amazingly talented massage therapist. She brings a happy calm to the setting. Susan and Helena are my favorites for a relaxing facial. They both think of every detail. All service ends with recommendations of product purchase and membership. The front of the house staff has changed over time and now has a fresh, polished appearance. Although I have moved to the south shore, I will consider starting a new membership in Walpole. If I do have an issue - I speak calmly AT APPOINTMENT time as I look for a resolution - I do not wish to have sour experiences. I am not bothered by the offerings of add-on purchases. I simply state what I do and do not want. I am excited to return to Walpole. Often, it is how you represent the dollar you are spending. Thank you Walpole Massage Envy for the care, concern and quality you put forth.
Do NOT buy gift cards. My appt. was canceled 2 hours before my scheduled time. My wife took a day off from work, so not only do they refuse to refund us, it cost a days pay. Calling corporate didn't help either. They just had me leave a voice message. Next call is the Attorney General! Read other reviews with same issues. Terrible
This Massage Envy in the Dedham location on Rout 1 auto mile the Mgr is not custom friendly I had a Very Bad Experience with her it was her way or no way so if anyone is going to go there DONT think twice before you go there
Nicole is a wizard of some kind. More knowledgeable than any chiropractors and physical therapists I've visited with my back and hip issues. Definitely got way more than I expected from the experience.
2 out of 5 scheduled massages have been cancelled with less than 24hrs notice by Massage Envy, unable to offer rescheduling for same day or following week. While you owe a fee for canceling less than 24hrs from appt, they offer nothing when they do it to you. If your looking to book go with a reputable salon, rather than this McDonalds style franchise.
