the prices are higher than in the mountain resort, I don' t find it normal, they know that the majority are stopping here and they keep the prices up.

One of the best places to buy ski equipment in Salzburg area. We bought two complete sets of ski touring equipment here. The young guy (Jacob) who was taking care of us was extremely helpful and competent (and patient as it took us almost 90 minutes to try and decide on everything and he didn't leave our side for a minute during that time). A ski-alpinist himself, he explained all the options and made us confident that we are buying the best equipment for our purposes. They mounted and set up the bindings for us in the in-store workshop just in a few minutes. And as a bonus we got a really good discount on everything.

We came here right after our plane landed since it is very close to the airport. The store is huge and it is possible to find whatever you are looking for because the store has a wide selection of different sport brands. The prices are not high since almost everything is on sale. The staff members are the most helpful and informed staff members that i have ever seen and they can help you decide even when you don't have the slightest idea about what you should buy. If you just came to the city and you need to buy some sport equipments, this is the best place to go in my opinion.
