Our wedding was truly amazing and unforgettable and we could not have done it without Alexis. She is very easy to talk to and work with. We felt that she really got to know us well and understood what would make us happy on our big day. Alexis carried a lot of the weight for us, sometimes literally like when she found a beautiful but heavy bureau at an antique store to use as our escort card display and carried it with her team back to her office. Things like that really made us happy that we went with her. Everything was beautiful, the day went smoothly and during the whole planning process we were able to focus on the big picture things without having to worry so much about the nitty gritty because we knew we had an expert with great taste on our team

Alexis delivered on our dream wedding weekend, and in fact, over-delivered as the weekend was even better than we imagined. We were married July 15, 2017 at Samoset Resort in Rockland, Maine. Our weekend consisted of four events. We started Thursday night with rehearsal dinner off-site at Pig & Poet, had a lobster bake Friday night for all the wedding guests, with an outdoor ceremony and reception under a tent on Saturday followed by a send-off Sunday morning brunch. We selected Alexis because of her warm and calm demeanor – something we knew would be important through the inevitable stresses of the planning process as well as during the wedding weekend. Through the planning process, Alexis consistently demonstrated her ability to listen to our thoughts, ideas, and desires then translate them into a beautiful vision and plan. Her impressive creativity is key in this phase. Add to that, her attention to detail took an immense amount of pressure off us during the planning. We were completely confident in her management of vendor options, vendor communication, etc. Come the wedding weekend, Alexis and her team executed a flawless set of four events. Beyond delivering an amazing wedding weekend, Alexis is simply a wonderful human. We always looked forward to our monthly planning meetings purely because Alexis is a delight to be with and she made the entire wedding planning process fun. We would recommend Alexis in a heartbeat to anyone considering a wedding planner – she is the best!
I had the pleasure of working with Alexis for the first time at a recent wedding I photographed. She was amazing throughout the whole process, keeping us vendors up to date as the wedding got closer, and being super helpful on the day of. Its obvious that she goes above and beyond for her couples!
Alexis was the GPS for our wedding planning -- we sort of knew where we needed to go and she gave us the directions to get ourselves there. We used her wedding coaching service via her website The Little Things. The coaching is affordable and perfect for those who want to be active in the planning of their own wedding, while getting the professional advice and knowledge of someone with a ton of experience. During our handful of hour-long coaching sessions, Alexis provided us with as much information as she could for any questions we had. Also she anticipated and suggested our next steps in the planning process which kept us focused on the bigger picture. At the end of each session her team sent us well organized write-up notes containing a summary of information discussed, references to resources, and action items for us to complete before the next session. Alexis helped us with advice on everything from the principles of color scheme to managing family expectations. Her guidance in prioritizing, breaking down, and scheduling made the thousand things that needed to get done more manageable and less stressful. We've already recommended her to several friends!
