I did my research of the vet before I decided to take a chance on them. They are absolutely wonderful!! I will make the drive from Manhattan for the price, the time that the vet took to explain what was going on with my dogs. They are a husband and wife team of veterinarian's and the husband is from my home town. If you want a good quality vet, that will not rush you out the door and takes time to explain what is going on with your animal this is the place for you. The office staff is friendly too. Please give them a try if you are looking for a reasonably priced and honest vet.

This place is just absolutely fantastic! Great atmosphere and you felt comfortable and welcome as soon as you walk through the door. Not only was the vet empathetic but was also very caring and informational with my pets needs and care. I would recommend this veterinarian to anyone.
My vet was closed due to an emergency and I needed to get a bordatella injection because I was going out of town the next morning and needed to board my pup. I called a different vet on the west side of wamego and they were going to charge me a full office call and the injection, 60.00 total! Mind you, my dog is current, had just been in for a physical last month, and I had all his records for proof. I called Green Valley next and they were wonderful. They got me in immediately, and only charged for the vaccine. I really appreciate how they handled my mini crisis. If I ever leave my current vet I will definitely go to them.
Dr. Rust took excellent care of our dog in her final days. He was also very kind and compassionate to our family. Highly recommend Green Valley Veterinary Services.
This is under new ownership. It's now run by a husband and wife team of vets. They both know their stuff. They talk to you as a person and give you the facts as if they were treating their own pet. I have 5 cats, 4 dogs and 2 horses. All of them come here. I trust these people with the care of them all.
