This is for the actual mail lady that delivers around Wamego Middle School. I have had nothing but positive experiences with the lady's in the store (I see them everyday}, but this is now the second time I have had mail missing and that has never happened to me! I do not get a good feeling about the lady that delivers mail and not to mention she drives without even paying attention of her surroundings!

I ordered a security camera on Ebay and strangely enough my shipment is en-route on a SUNDAY, which the post offices are closed on Sundays. Im not complaining, i just think its odd enough because i bought the security camera to capture evidence of something in my home. Something wants me to have that camera and fast....bravo USPS....5 Star Rating for you
I am fed up with the wamego post office and ESPECIALLY our mail lady. Since she took over, we have had 6 packages missing and countless packages thrown in our ditch. Our wedding invitations were ruined because they were thrown in the ditch and got wet. Since we filed a complaint about these incidents, now all of a sudden there's always a reason for our mail being undeliverable. We have to make numerous trips to the post office which is 7 miles away. This last incident is the last straw. I ordered very expensive autographed pictures for my family for Christmas and they scanned them in front of our house and said they were delivered. Problem is, they weren't. So this solves the missing packages mystery. Our mail lady is a thief!! And I'm out hundreds of dollars. She constantly delivers the wrong mail to our house as well. We've had to deliver 3 packages to our neighbors. Ridiculous!!! I suggest businesses change to UPS or FEDEX cause USPS have lost all their morals.
I live south of Wamego about 3 miles. I am constantly missing mail. We have been missing a gas bill, a VIsa Bill, an at&t bill, ect, ect. all within the past month or so. What is happening to our mail? If we don't watch for it and notice we have not recv'd it we get charged late fees. Our name is on the inside lid of our mailbox. This is happening more frequently. Can something be done about this? I would also like to add that I tried to phone the PO this afternoon for over a half hour and All I get is the busy signal. Is no one answering phones ?
It's only 1 Star, because they won't allow me to rate them 0 Stars. They refuse to deliver any package that doesn't fit in the mail box. It doesn't even matter if we are obviously home. I have filed official complaints, and will again. I have spoken directly with the Local Post Master... multiple times, and have been promised this wouldn't happen again. It has... multiple times. The Post Master asked that I place a container beside the mail box, large enough to hold multiple large packages... so I mounted a large plastic tote to the ground next to the mail box, with a bungie cord to secure the lid. It's never been used. I continue to recieve notifications that they could not deliver this package or that package. And if the Post Master reads this... to answer the same question you asked, the last time I was at the post office... before I had ever given my name or address... Yes, this IS indeed in reference to the Hearron residence. ***Update*** It has been 7 days since I filed another official complaint. The next day, I recieved an email, from someone at the Wamego Post Office stating that after investigating and reviewing the situation, I would be contacted... Six days later, nothing. How long does it take, to investigate and review why your Postal Employee can't be bothered to put packages in the box, that the local Post Master requested that we install. I still can't post a review with less that one star, but at this point, if I could, I would give negative two stars.
I have never had any problem with any of the personnel working in the lobby and the wait times are usually very short but package deliver to my home is terrible, they won't even try. More than a dozen times they just leave the pink slip in the mailbox even when I am home. I try my best to never order anything that ships USPS but unfortunately now UPS increasing uses USPS for that part of deliver which means I have to drive and pick up my package. The USPS needs a better way to address these problems because local Postmaster/mistress is not getting the job done apparently. They should shutter the USPS and contract it out.
Usually I have no issues. not sure if we recently got new delivery person but my packages are never "delivered to my porch or door step" like the status says it was. Spent 20 minutes running from porch to porch this morning because they couldn't be bothered to actually come in our complex and drop it off. I found it on a neighbors porch by the road. I know its snowing, but dont be lazy. Hell, I would've been happy to get a paper to go pick it up so atleast I know it wouldn't get swiped.
Fast service. Not going to complain about our Post Office, just happy to have one in town. Things can always be worse.
