Nice place.... After parking your car, you have to walk about one and half kM up on the hill. Then comes this place. Its has one restaurant and the place is also ok ok. Lots of place above and best part is the View from top.... Little green place to seat and enjoy the sun

Nice place to walk. Wonderful view. Places to sit, clean toilet. The restaurant staff is pretty rude. My husband ordered a beer and for me a bitter lemon, when he asked for ice the waitress said they don’t have ice that they are a simple restaurant. Also if you would like a salad you can’t have it without the dressing because the salad is already done!! After a while we saw some people ordering drinks like Aperol.... and the drinks HAVE ICE ON IT. When my husband asks her she said the ice is for the drinks not for other beverages. Answering us in a really really rude way. Im sorry but this place is a turistic place if you don’t like or don’t know how to be nice to people please don’t work on this kind of place. Never coming to this restaurant again!!!! And I don’t recommend !!!!! Ps. My husband is German só nothing was lost in the translation!!!!

When the sun is present, there are a lot of people here. There is a small shop, where you can buy simple meals and something todrink. But it is crowdedand you have to wait for 5 or 10 minutes. There a lot of possibilities to sit anywhere and eat. When sun is shinning, the landscape is wonderful. You can drive to the wood, where is a large parking structure. Starting from here, you need 25 min only to reach the Burg, but it is exhausting to come to that altitude. It is a good trip for three hours, except travel by car.

The Truth

A very good place to visit for a hike. Can get there two ways. (1) Walk straight from the nearby towns such as Owen and Dettingen or (2) Drive halfway up until midway of Teck Berg for a shorter walk to the Castle. The Castle/Restaurant has toilets of course. Then it has food shops, One is a fine Restaurant for Classic Swabian Dishes, the other is a snack bar for quick bites. The Place is really nice and it has a tower that allows visitors 360 view of the surroundings. The restaurant has a website. Check this out for opening hours.

Beautiful view! But the staff is very rude - we couldn't get any food because we were 5 minutes late for kitchen service. They sent us away in a very unfriendly manner.
