If you like small airplanes that is the place to go for afternoon caffe. Plenty of space for parking and it is free! Good to visit during summer. Not sure for the winter. It lacks weather protection in case of bad weather. Fast service.

When it comes to traditional local dishes the Flugplatz restaurant in Wangen is one of the best around Lake Zurich. Although a little out of the way, the view of the mountains and lake are spectacular. A wonderful place to spend a few hours enjoying the delicious food surrounded by the beautiful scenes of the alps and lake. The airport just a few steps from the restaurant makes for an entertaining time watching planes landing and taking off. Definitely a place to visit while traveling in Zurich and surroundings.
Best place for going cycling with small kids, you can easily spend halo day there, beautiful views and lovely food in the restaurant!
Cool place for a desert or something to drink. You can watch the planes as they start and land on the runway nearby. There's also parking spots for boats, so if your sailing or boating on the Obersee it's a nice place to stop for a break.
Really great place to stop for a cool drink and a quick bite during your choice of sporting activity or for a relaxed meal.
extraordinary location with mountain view and lake bordering . excellent service , family oriented place . This is a family run business , absolutely unique in its kind . There is allways some excitement as you can allmost tuch the small private planes that land and take off next to you . Super place for brunch on a lazy su day .
