We stayed at Wangnoo Houseboats for one night, and the only regret was that we could not extend our stay due to time constraints. It is a perfect place to stay if you wish to cherish the serenity and tranquillity of Lake Nigeen (which I found better than Dal lake for stay purpose). They have 4 houseboats side by side - together called Wangnoo group. The rooms are very clean and well maintained. In fact the overall houseboat is very elite - the wood carvings, the carpets and furniture are royal. Food served is amazing. Service is good, and the staff, like everywhere else we went in Kashmir, is very polite and courteous. The owner Mr.Ibrahim personally greets the guests and makes them feel at home. Overall, it's a must stay when you are in Srinagar.

A Host to applaud for the dedication towards his business. Wangnoo Sheraton Group of Houseboats there courteousness needs to be mentioned here for services that his family has dedicated for decades in the Kashmir valley. We Just stayed for a day as a family of four in one of his boats. We were desperate for some many matters of concern. No Mobile data No SIM CARD All Flights cancelled. Maybe it seems the end of the world in a scenario like this in the corner of the world. The owners sorted every matter of concern one by one in the most professional way. Food was the very best we ever had in the Kashmir valley. Nevertheless, all went for a smooth end with so many odd end tied the day before. May God bless the Family behind Wangnoo Sheraton Group of Houseboats with the aboundness of his blessings. With no extra money paid apart from our stay bills. We parted ways with a good soul.
Hands down the best stay in the whole trip. We opted Lalit group's for one day and houseboat for another day, was bit hesitant before the stay tho, but turned out to be an amazing experience. Very well maintained and a beautiful view of the calm and peaceful Nigeen Lake from the front of the houseboat. The five ranking is especially for the hospitality and the food. The owner was extremely kind and the home cooked food was out of the world. They matched the 5 Star category in terms of the food and the hospitality ;) Good luck!
We had stayed in the boat house on the 1st of Jan 2021. It was an amazing experience, neat n hygienic boat house. Very well maintained. Fully loaded with all the amenities I should say. Food was just awesome home cooked food. Served with so much love n care by the caretaker Mr. Basheer. Great hospitality. It gave us the feel at home types. Highly recommend this place n I hope to visit again in summer.
View from this houseboat is amazing. Dal lake and its houseboat is overrated. If anyone wants to enjoy peacefully then They should go for Nigeen lake Bashir bhai at wangnoo sheraton was very helpful
The best houseboat in Srinagar. Since it is was a houseboat it our expectations were pretty low but it was very clean and the service was very homely. SHERKAKA made us feel like home and even the food cooked was just like 'ghar ka khana' The owner Mr.IBHRAHIM was very friendly with us. I lost my earbuds there and realised the next day when I was in Pahalgam I just made a call to MR.BILAL and he sincerely followed up and found it anyhow. Overall it is a homely and friendly experience and the best place to stay. RECOMMENDED TO STAY FOR MORE THAN A DAY AND ENJOY TO THE FULLEST
Outer look is nice,main hall is also maintained, but food variety and quality and taste were not upto the mark of 4 star.The linen and blankets were torn and not maintained. The overall experience was not good.
