I highly recommend Jim and his crew. He is always available, no matter what I need. We have done many different rooms over the past 10 years and Jim has done a fabulous job every time. He is very knowledgeable, has great taste and very professional. He stands behind every job he does. Highly recommend.

Jim and his team are excellent. They did a whole-house renovation for us, including mold and asbestos remediation. They finished on time and did excellent work. We appreciated their input along the way, especially when the renderings from our architect didn't look like they yielded great space when Jim's team went to frame the walls. By calling us in to look before they carried on, we were able to re-work two rooms to better fit our vision. They are knowledgeable, respectful of our home, and very reliable. When we've called them for things that needed addressing quickly, they've always responded quickly, and the few times we've called for non-urgent odds and ends now that our big project is done, they are still great about squeezing us in quickly. Jim really builds longstanding relationships, and is a pleasure to work with!
We have been Tru-Tek customers for almost 17 years. The first job that Jim and his company did for us was a small tile job in the back of my house. We needed mold remediation in our basement shortly thereafter, which he addressed and has not been a problem since then. Then, shortly after when my upstairs hall bathroom subfloor collapsed flooding my main floor laundry room, Jim helped with our insurance claim and then remodeled our upstairs bathroom, did mold remediation in the laundry room, and made the necessary repairs to the laundry room as well. A couple of years later, he remodeled our downstairs bath and then a few years later, he built our three-story extension that included a basement, main floor family room, and master bedroom and bathroom. We unexpectedly needed underpinning of our existing basement, which he did as well. Finally, just a few years ago, he remodeled our kitchen. In the meantime, we have called on him for smaller jobs including but not limited to plumbing, heating, and electrical repairs. He has replaced windows, helped us with a dead animal in our chimney, cleared debris from our cricket roof, and done other miscellaneous small jobs over the years. He has been there for us when we didn’t have any heat on a cold Sunday and checked on our house when we were out of town during Hurricane Irene. There were a couple of instances over the years where I was not completely satisfied with things and he was always approachable and resolved those issues to our satisfaction. I have also appreciated how his core crewmembers have remained the same over the years. I really cannot say enough about the integrity of owner Jim and the quality of his work. We are very fortunate to have such a long standing working relationship with someone that we trust.
Owner Jim knows his stuff. I had mold from flooding during hurricane Sandy. Had a big national company do mold remediation. Several months later the mold came back. The company wanted to charge me again said no guarantee? A friend recommended tru tek. You could tell Jim knew his business and he was certified in mold removal. Hired him and my house is mold free.
