Nice museum.

Great place for history. The detailed information is in Greek and English. Plus they have an excellent film on the history. Staff friendly. Clean. Bright. Good location.
The War Museum of Nafplio is housed in the two storey neo-classical building. This building was built originally the to house the first Military Academy in Greece. It was founded by Ioannis Kapodistrias, in order to provide the army with suitably educated recruits. Since its restoration in 1988 it has housed the War Museum. Interesting site of historical importance.
Excellent building, very interesting exhibition
Very interesting ! The building by itself worth a visit.
The only interesting thing is the museum building, as in it was the first Military academy in Greece. The content of the museum is extremly poor, practicaly there are only drawings. There is no written chronological history of Greek revolutionary war of 1821 year nor some short biographies of the most important leaders. Even 2 is too much.
Not big but very interesting!
Interesting, split over three floors. Probably not great for kids. Mostly stuff about WWII and Balkan wars
