My husband and I purchased 2 properties with Katie Christianson. She has been such a wonderful help throughout the whole process. We have worked with several agents both in Japan and the US, and I must say, Katie is by far THE best agent we know. We were investors living in Japan trying to purchase rental properties in the US for the first time. She was very nice and communicated with us very well even under the 15 HRs time difference and other unique issues to involve with our international situation. Not only that, she is local to Kansas City and her insights as a local person was really helpful. What we really loved was how she really cared about us getting good properties at the right price. Even if the property is cheaper than other properties, she focused on getting the right one that we were looking for. Also, she wasn’t afraid to ask for a lower price to the seller for our benefit even if it means to lower her agent fee. She always made sure to follow up with us, the bank, and title company so everything will go smooth. This was very helpful because purchasing homes can be overwhelming and sometimes we get lost on what to do next. As international investors, purchasing investment homes in the US was very challenging. However, thanks to Katie, we were able to complete the purchase. I honestly don't think we could've done it without her help. Whether you are international or domestic, for anyone who wants to purchase properties in KC, I cannot recommend enough to get in touch with Katie. She definitely is a superstar real estate agent.
