It was really unwelcoming here. While we were waiting for our friend to come back to order food, a man came to our table to rush us to order with an excuse that our table is reserved for other guests, and then someone else came and said that the kitchen will have to take a lot of orders later even though the restaurant was half full for the whole time we were there. The food was rather disappointing, we had to constantly fight with flies while steak was chewy, seafood platter was average and linguine was bland.

Lovely food. Excellent service. I don't know what the previous reviews have been complaining about. Everyone here was very friendly and swift with the service.
Staff, while not wholly rude, were a bit unprofessional. They rushed us to order with a thinly veiled excuse and were very direct asking for the bill. The linguini and seafood platter was ok, steak was overcooked.
A lovely quaint little hotel set in the beautiful little village of Lulworth. They have a very good menu that was well cooked. They also have a reasonable selection of local beers to try. We had an attic room so thought the views would be excellent. However our room was at the back of the hotel which meant that we had an excellent view of the cliff face which is only a couple of feet from the window. This was the only negative point but didn't spoil our stay.
Great location great staff love the place. Best location in lulworth and closest to the cove.
