My wife, Ali, and I had been looking for a life-change by moving from the city to a more tranquil and "earthy" location. We came across a property that we really liked the look of and so reached out to the listing agent Katie Boyle - what a lovely woman - so welcoming, calm and friendly. She was very thorough in presenting the property, fully informed and accommodating, as we needed to travel an hour or so to Warkworth for any viewing. We made an offer on the property that we liked with some conditions that Katie fully understood; unfortunately we couldn't pursue that purchase through no fault of the property or marketing. Katie stayed on the case; she had really listened to what we liked, didn't like and our aspirations, so it didn't take her long to exercise her network and come up with an even better option for us. Again we were afforded flexible access to the property and lot's of backwards and forwards questions were coordinated through her (townies getting a little nervous with this new rural gig). We have purchased, we move in next year - woohoo. But wait, there's more … in passing Ali mentioned that her mum was looking to move and we thought Warkworth could be an awesome destination; we gave Katie the details (which included a lower price range) … she had nothing but would keep her eye out - nek minute .. "none of these are my listings, but all worth looking at" - she was right; again had listened to our brief and put forward some really good suggestions more than once. Thanks Katie and thanks Remax - the journey so far has been awesome.
