I was told by a longterm Warkworth resident that the local police are really lazy, & I had to pay a 400 excess on my vehicle insurance because they never have Admin staff, almost never have the service counter open & never followed up on my report of being rear ended in my vehicle... But I am hopeful that their delays serving a trespass notice on an abusive & threatening neighbour might end one day soon. Maybe I should have tried the Wellsford police instead? There was a very rude policeman with a South African accent, very condescending over my concerns! :'(
