The food and Service was great!!! This past weekend I attended a surprise 40th dinner party for a close friend and definitely enjoyed myself. Reservations where made a few weeks ago and when we arrived ten minutes before our reservation time our table was ready. I had the shrimp scampi and the angel hair pasta and shrimp were cooked perfectly! I was surprised by the jumbo shrimp when I expected small shrimp. Everyone in our party enjoyed their food. The server was great making sure we had everything we needed and even checked to see if we needed extra silverware for the cake that was brought in. I definitely recommend this restaurant and look forward to taking my hubby for a date night soon.

I am not sure what I was expecting but this wasn't it. I remembered that I had their she crab soup when it first opened and it was decent all things considered. Well I was craving a taste of coastal Carolina and figured I'd stop by. The soup was heavy on the crab but empty on the flavor. It had this dark brown almost gumbo like look, the sherry was non-existent and there was almost no seasoning in the soup. I actually had to add salt and pepper to it just to coerce some flavor out. I also had the fish and chips which were underwhelming. The fries were actually really good but the fish was very greasy and the tartar sauce didn't have enough sweetness or acidity basically tasted like mayo. Service was excellent and the menu seems to have some great stuff so maybe this was just an off night.

They are trying I suppose, and I certainly want to support a local owned set up over a franchise. Overall, I'd say its a good place for a group of friends to have drinks and food, and conversation about the airplanes printed on the table. Our experience was early lunchtime and the service was good, it was just the kitchen not doing him any favors. The oysters and shrimp were cooked well, with fried items having a very crispy batter. My shrimp and grits had alot of potential, but the gravy tasted of maple syrup and took over anything else going on in the dish. The lady running things did seem to pick up on our disappointment and comped an appetizer and I am sure she would have worked to ensure our satisfaction if we had said something more on other dishes too.

Best experience I've had in a long time. The wait was not long. The food was delicious and the service was amazing.

Overall good experience. The food was good, not great. I had the Low County Boil. It was warm when served at best. The sausage in the dish was very salty. Did not seem to be andouille as I expect in a Boil. Our appetizer was burned, so the manager came to our table to inform us. We received the appetizer after our meal was served but it was on the house. We boxed it and brought it home. Jasmine was our server and was very pleasant and attentive. So, it was not the best experience, but I'll give it another shot as there are other items I'd like to try.
