Lots of selection, fair price, highly qualified staff and flawless installation. This is my personal experience working with Universal Stone. They are in my town and didn't know until when I stop by one day and found cost effective countertop I was looking was around the corner. After the installation, from leftover stone they made 2 stone piece which we can use for misc purpose. THANK YOU UNIVERSAL STONES. Love to shop again there in future.

i recently had universal stone make and install a large 8 foot countertop on three cabinets to make a worktable for me so I can drive my wheelchair up to it and do my writing. Richard was a great help and allowed me to bring my wheelchair in the plant and pick my own granite. It arrived, they installed it and it is perfect! Universal Stone also installed all of the countertops in my kitchen and we have been very happy with their work.
The salesman was great, the installation was a challenge since they couldn't do a top mount sink. They owe me a refund on the sink and we've waited six weeks for a refund. I dislike them holding my refund money for an extended period of time. The business does alot of commercial business but I wouldn't recommend them if you are a residential customer.
I check website before driving 45 minutes to Universal stone. Warrenton. Universal stone website states they do granite for Residential customers. This is not true. On arriving, I was informed that they are "too busy doing their commercial customers, than to bother with my granite order. I was in no rush for it. Dismayed and pretty annoyed that I was assumed to be a not worthy customer. The website is very misleading. This really does need to be fixed. Sorry for wasting your time Universal stone. Had your website been more accurate. I would not have darkened your door.
Our sales representative was new but helpful unfortunately the installation did not go as expected. One of the countertops was not measured properly the installers seem to be in a bit of a hurry and damage to our walls left a mess on the driveway and construction dust throughout the house. They also neglected to investigate the need for an electrician to reinstall the cooktop and told us we did not need which ultimately We did have to hire an electrician as well as a plumber to reinstall our cooktop. so it’s a bit more than just a countertop install.
I wish all the contractors I work with were as reliable as Universal Stones, INC. They showed up when they said and did exactly what they promised. The workmanship was top notch. Richard made some very good suggestions and helped make the project a success. Highly recommened!
