The original Balinese mixed rice served with Tekor (Balinese banana leaf plate used in ancient times), this old Balinese concept restaurant is perfect for those of us who miss the atmosphere of ancient Bali ,, the price is still cheap with the taste of authentic Balinese. Really feels like returning to an old village
At first you will thought you're in the wrong place. You're hungry but google just sent me to art shop. The answer is yes and no, Yes they also sell art and antique, No, you're in the right place. This is the dining place. And Yes you will also speculate, will this place offer good food? The owner of this place are an old couple, they are very friendly and helpful. Until now they only used traditional wooded stove, so you'll know you will have a good taste meal. This dinner called Nasi Tekor (in javanese called pincuk), it's a meal served on a banana leaves. The presentation very traditional but the taste is excellent. It's a traditional mix chicken rice and they only sell that and only cost 20K. Only cost peanuts for what you will taste. Before you eat it, you have to mix all of them so the consistency is good and you have a full bite. Yes the fried egg is a bit salty, but when you ate it as a whole (with the rice), the taste will be balance. Final verdict: This place will be missed, will come again in my next visit to Bali.
good place in the east of denpasar. the food is tasty and so cheap. recommended!
Love the food and extraordinary ambience. Served with love, and you will drag away from the hustle bustle of the city into the sublime of the old time. Enjoy the sound of the chirping bird and the old rustic furniture as a bonus. Price is also affordable. Nasi Tekor is a Balinese mixed rice with chicken and fish satay served with tekor and no MSG. Tekor itself, is a "pincuk" in Javanese. The way people folded a banana leave to place a food.
Come here if you're looking for an authentic balinese dining experience. It feels like you went back to 1950 era. Love the ambience, love the foods, and the owners are super friendly.
The place have a really nice ambience, very comfy. The food cost IDR20K and quite tasty. The egg a bit salty though. Its a kind of balinese chicken rice.
