So here's the thing about this place, it's probably a great place to go if you regularly practice archery, have a small group (or if it's just you) that will be coming with you and don't mind a laid back style of business. That being said, if you're trying to get a large group in they may accept a reservation over the phone, but regardless of whether you call or not they will generally make you feel like a burden. A few weeks back we tried to come for a birthday with 7 or so people, the woman running the shop at that time turned us away after lecturing us that we should call ahead. Though the tone of the conversation was not very customer friendly we had, once before, had a good experience at this place and tend to enjoy supporting small business in the area, so we decided to try again. We called a week or so in advance to schedule a 1 hour block for 7 archers, 3 of whom would not need the introductory mini lesson and 4 of whom would. Despite calling ahead when we arrived the gentleman running the counter explained that big groups aren't convenient during business hours and he would see \what he could do\. I will say that after a little bit of a-do the gentleman did manage to make the space for our group on the right half of the range. In the process he did have to shuffle several other customers, which made us feel bad. One positive is that Tangy's manages to keep safety a priority and while you're shooting things move smoothly. Overall this establishment has good equipment and can be a fun time but I would not recommend it for anyone who is not an avid archer looking to become a regular (solo or with a partner maybe). I especially don't recommend this for anyone looking for a weekend activity with a group any larger than 2. Overall Tangy's left our entire group feeling unwelcome and as though we were a nuisance on two different occasions, and that's unfortunately enough to insure us not coming back.

Tangy's has a very knowledgeable and helpfull staff. Lanes are well lit and safe. If they do not have it in stock they can get it for you . I highly recomend them.

Super affordable! Tangerine Dean, who owns the place, knows his stuff. And Paul, the blue arrow, is a great instructor; he helped our girls get started and and boosted their confidence with archery. It's currently their favorite activity, and they want to go back often.

Awesome fella runs the place, Jim, with his side kick Paul. They make it inviting and fun to enjoy the sport. I'd recommend it to new comers and seasoned archers to visit.
