My friend recommended me to Wasatch, and after seeing how well-behaved his dog is... I decided to give it a try. I am so glad I did. Wasatch is great for training (Sam has been amazing)-- both in person and through their online community. I love that I can text questions at anytime between sessions. My pup loves doggy day care and boarding. He gets so excited when we pull up and won't stop wagging his tail! Socialization classes have been also amazing for his development. A friend saw my dog the other day and said, "He is so well behaved. You can tell this is a Wasatch dog." If you are looking for a great place to board or train...you have found the place! I love Wasatch.

I signed up for the group dog obedience class and attended my first session. We were given quite a bit of information but it was also supplemented with emailed handouts and training videos which is nice to go back and use as a reference. Every time I have had a question and contacted the business, they have returned my call or text every single time. I’ve asked many questions so I was definitely pleasantly surprised. They never seemed irritated nor did I feel like I was bothering them in any way. They were always courteous and told me not to hesitate to contact them again if I have any other questions. I purchased some daycare passes so I’m excited to try it out to have my dogs interact with other dogs. If you are curious and looking for a place, I would not hesitate to contact Wasatch Canine!
We were so pleased with our experience with Wasatch Canine Camp. We boarded our GSP and Blue Lacy for 5 days while out of town. The staff there are all experienced dog trainers and new how to work with each dog's quirks, behaviors and personalities. At the end of the stay, they send you a "report card" for each dog. It includes pictures and videos from their stay along with a summary of how they did and even had a list of their best friends! One of the staff members was even willing to stay late for us to pick them up after our flights home had changed. We will definitely be boarding here again and I recommend them highly for your furry loved ones.
My dogs have gone to Daycare twice and both times they have got VERY sick afterwards. My dogs are up to date on their vaccinations. The staff is not welcoming and almost appear bothered each time we showed up. Additionally, the “report card” they provide after each visit has been one sentence & not helpful at all. I had very high hopes to take my dogs often to help socialize them, but it appears the staff leaves them to sit in the corner of their kennel with their housemates (per the report card). They are not willing to show you their facilities and the fact that my dogs have got sick after both visits is extremely concerning. After paying hundreds of dollars for them to be treated our vet & receive necessary medications, I will never take my dogs back here.
We did the Puppy Training Program with our beagle at Wasatch Canine Camp. They gave us all the tools to know how to train our puppy. Any time we have a question or behavior issue, they are an excellent resource for suggestions and solutions. We love the Saturday socialization classes. And we also did swimming lessons for our dog at Wasatch. Every service we have received from them has been excellent!
"Shut up Ace!" Was a constant phrase used in our household when our 85 lb dog would start barking at strangers. One day, it was, "ACE, NO!! STOP!!" When he ripped the leash from my hand and went after a child on the playground. As a first time dog owner, I did not know what to do. Thank goodness a friend mentioned Wasatch Canine Camp. They have taught (and are still teaching) me how to train Ace to be calm and obedient. We have all come a long way in the past 4 months. Walks are no longer stressful, he's mostly calm and obedient. (Still working on strangers coming into the home...) but the progress we've seen so far has just amazed me! I highly, HIGHLY recommend bringing your dog here. P.S. We've used their boarding and daycare too! They sent us updates and pictures of Ace while in their care.
I would definitely recommend the group obedience class. Our bulldog is a stubborn 15-month old, and we learned good techniques and valuable skills in working with her. Our trainer, Allen, was very knowledgeable and experienced. He was able to answer any question from class members and help us get our dogs working together and better behaved!
I started to bring my very scared GSD puppy here after getting advice from a friend to socialize her more. After about 4 visits she is finally starting to enjoy herself. The staff is great. She is now super excited when she sees us pull into the parking lot for day care. This place has been a dream! Our puppy has learned so much from coming here a few times a week. The price is right, it’s a clean environment, the hours are perfect!
