Amazing gem in the heart of U street. The speciality cocktail options are concentrated in rum concoctions and are second to none in the city. The best way to go is to order several dishes and share (depending on hunger and amount of ppl). Absolutely order the Crab Dip and the Beef Nachos.

The bar has a fantastic holiday theme, that really sets the mood. The holiday drinks, as well as the normal drinks, are both creative and delicious. The food is very tasty and really adds the island charm to the experience.

Archipelago was outstanding! Since I moved to DC, I've been wondering where I could find great cocktails after going to a number of places with sugary, weak, tasteless drinks. We loved the cocktails here. They were on point in terms of portions, recipe, and presentation. Our server was super nice and chill. They have a ton of excellent vegan options. The food was flavorful, well executed, and a great value. I will definitely be back again and again.

Went there today. They open at 5pm. I arrived at 4:57pm. I asked if I could seat on the patio while I waited for my friend (I'm 9 months pregnant). The waiter refused... I left and will never be coming again. Following up on your response to my comment: your waiter was extremely rude and not helpful. He did not direct me to your front door, he told me I would have to wait until the official opening and then enter through the front door, only after I asked why I was being refused entrance. At 9 months pregnant, I take covid mitigating measures extremely seriously so your answer is not only out of line, it also shows how little respect you have for your customers. You can be sure I'll advise all of my friends to never set foot in your bar. Not the kind of publicity you'd hope to have in these difficult times, bur I'm afraid you brought it on yourselves...

Probably one of my favorite spots in DC. Been here a few times and have really enjoyed it. It's a full on Tiki bar selling Tiki drinks with a range of Chinese inspired dishes. I really enjoy the Dan Dan Noodles and the Opaque Voodoo, it's even served in a shark head which is pretty unique. Definitely worth the trip, and I'm sure I'll return many more times again.
